Laughing the Whole Time

My mom just told me a precious story about two guys that came over to pressure wash her driveway this week. It seemed like they were taking way longer than they should, but then she found out why.

One of the guys shared with her that they'd been friends for over 30 years. She realized that they took so long because every few minutes one of them would crack a joke and they'd laugh so hard they had to stop what they were doing.

These are the people we all need in our lives. The ones that may cause us to take a little longer to get some things done because were doing it with a laugh and a smile.

Joviality will beat productivity any day of the week. I hope for you those days are many and abundant. The only thing we really need to create more of is good memories with great friends.
