No Guarantees
/Most days that I sit down to write this blog, I begin typing before I know what I'm going to write about. Sometimes I don't write about what i'm really going to write about until I've already written several sentences or paragraphs. But all that is part of the process.
Even if I don't know what I'm going to write about, I can always find something. That's for certain.
What there is no guarantee of is if it will be "good," something I'm proud of, or something that another person find worth reading. There's no guarantee that someone will read it at all.
I don't need those guarantees to write. If I did, I wouldn't be writing everyday. Because there is never a guarantee for any of that.
However, without those guarantees, I do write. Since I write every day, eventually I do write something I think is good and worthy to share with others. Sometimes people even respond back to what I write which lets me know they read it.
This is the dance of the creative process. To create without guarantee. That's the only way things come into being in the first place.
